Established under FMV Işık University Department of Economics, Sustainable Economic Systems Research Lab (SESLAB) leads studies with the essentiality of a global economic understanding that is shaped not by models oriented towards “growth at the expense of everything”, denominated in monetary magnitudes, but by alternative models that consider the mutual interaction of the ecosystem and the economy in a holistic manner, and consider not only today’s generation but also future generations.
