About
Established under FMV Işık University Department of Economics, Sustainable Economic Systems Research Lab (SESLAB) leads studies with the essentiality of a global economic understanding that is shaped not by models oriented towards “growth at the expense of everything”, denominated in monetary magnitudes, but by alternative models that consider the mutual interaction of the ecosystem and the economy in a holistic manner, and consider not only today’s generation but also future generations. By utilizing the academic staff’s modeling and data science skills, SESLAB offers Seminars on Green Economy, SESLAB Bulletin Series, SESLAB Reports Series, projects with a national and global scope, industry partnerships, and training programs for anyone who wants to understand the future economic environment starting today.
